Immigration is a journey and Armstrong Legal is here to accompany you. We would love to hear more about your personal immigration story.
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
Immigrant children who are victims of abuse, abandonment, or neglect by a parent may qualify for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS). We are sensitive to the special needs of children in these cases.
Asylum
Asylum is a form of humanitarian relief for people who are fleeing persecution in their country due to a protected characteristic. In most cases, an application for asylum must be submitted within one year of arriving to the United States. It is important that persons seeking asylum understand the requirements of the law in order to best present their case.
Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
A foreign country may be designated for TPS due to conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country’s nationals from returning safely. TPS beneficiaries are not removable from the United States, can obtain employment authorization, and apply for travel authorization. TPS is a temporary benefit that does not lead to lawful permanent resident status or any other immigration status.
DACA
DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) policy protects young people who entered the United States unlawfully as children. The program offers them work authorization and temporary protection from deportation. However, it does not grant official legal status or a pathway to citizenship.

Removal Defense
Removal proceedings are Immigration Court proceedings the U.S. government, through U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), uses to remove non-citizens from the United States. Depending on several factors, there may be relief available for you. Experienced in representing individuals before the Immigration Court, we will represent you zealously.
Naturalization & Citizenship
Naturalization is the process by which Lawful Permanent Residents (or “green card holders”) in the United States become U.S. citizens. The process of naturalization involves submitting application Form N-400 and attending an interview at a U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) Field Office. We are here to help you through this exciting, but often intimidating, process.
Family-Based Immigration
U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents can petition for certain close family members to join them in the United States. Family-based immigration may take the form of petitioning loved ones by filing Form I-130 with U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). We can assist you with this, and many other family based immigration issues.
